Welcome to Johnson's Farm Produce
Garden Center Features Unique Plants & Containers
Located in Hobart, Indiana with a second location in Valparaiso, Johnson's Farm is home to the largest garden center in the area.
We offer a terrific selection of plants and garden products. Our season starts off in April with a variety of specialty containers, hanging baskets, perennials and flowers, with a full selection in time for Mothers Day. Our experienced staff is always on hand to answer all your gardening questions.
Farm Fresh Produce in our Farm Markets
We are proud to offer fresh produce, hand picked daily throughout the entire growing season. We start our season with homegrown asparagus, rhubarb, and sugar snap peas. Then, as summer gets into full swing, we bring a larger variety of fresh produce to the markets. Your family will love our oh-so-tasty sweet corn, along with summer squash, zucchini, beets, green beans, tomatoes and peppers of all kinds. You can also enjoy our produce with the confidence of knowing that none of our vegetables are grown from genetically modified seed (No GMO). Our berries are a family favorite: strawberries in June, blueberries in July, and raspberries and blackberries in August. You can enjoy our ripe, delicious berries all summer long. As the weather cools off and fall begins, we feature homegrown winter squash and pumpkins.
Strawberry Season Features U Pick
There is nothing like local, home grown Johnson strawberries - whether you want to go to the field to pick your own or purchase them pre-picked inside our farm market. Strawberry season doesn't last long so come visit us as soon as the picking begins. Grab your friends and neighbors and come enjoy the country air and fields brimming with red ripe berries during our Strawberry Festival NEW Date: June 15 & 16!
Fall Season
Bring your camera and kids to our Hobart location Saturdays and Sundays this October for fantastic fall family fun. Stay for lunch and enjoy some hot apple cider while the kids play on our Blue Choo Express, or jump in the Pumpkin Bounce House. Fun will be had by all! See you this fall.
