New For 2010

Perennials

Clematis Josephine

Not brand new but it's our favorite from Raymond Evison's Premium Clematis Collection. It is disease resistant, reliable, and free flowering. This beauty will continue to produce blooms all season long. It's one of our favorites!

Boomerang Reblooming Lilac

We can hardly wait for this little darling to arrive! Bloomerang blooms in spring and then again throughout the summer. It does go through a rest period in the heat of the summer, then flowers. While traditional lilac varieties bloom for a few short weeks in spring, Bloomerang's fragrant flowers continue until frost. This compact, mounded variety fits easily into any landscape, and is ideal as a foundation planting or as part of the mixed border. You can even include it into perennial beds. Enjoy classic lilac fragrance for months instead of weeks!

Hardy Bamboo

Bamboo is hot for 2010 in more ways than one. A beautiful addition to the garden, Bamboo is also emerging as one of the most eco-friendly plants in the world. There are clumping and running varieties.

Candy Store ™ Phlox

The best mildew resistant Phlox to date! From Bubblegum to Lollipops, the Candy Store ™ series of hardy Phlox will bring months of tantalizing color to your summer garden! Clusters of deliciously scented flowers begin to bloom in early summer filling the garden with a sweet fragrance until fall. Available in 4 candy-coated colors, the Candy Store ™ series alleviates all of the common concerns that are often associated with garden Phlox with their excellent disease resistance. Just plant them in rich, organic soil in the full sun, and get ready for months of blooming pleasure. Butterflies and Hummingbirds will share in the ecstasy making it easy to see why these garden delights are such a beloved favorite.

Heuchera (Coral Bells)

A vibrant, showy foliage perennial that prefers shade. They carry their plume-like flowers high above their crowns, but the gardener's principal interest lies in their foliage, which is available in a huge range of attractive colors. The will add bold bursts of color to your landscape all season long. Coral Bells are not new, but there are new varieties that come out every year and they are so fabulous that we had to mention them!
