We are a 3rd generation family owned and operated business located in Hobart, Indiana with a second location located on Highway 30 in Valparaiso.

At Johnson's our goal is to provide our customers with the best variety and highest quality of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs, gifts for home and garden, and gardening products.

We farm over 350 acres. We have one of the few strawberry farms left in the Midwest. We grow over 50 acres of strawberries that we pick fresh daily and sell all over NW Indiana. We also have a U-Pick Strawberry patch that is open every day when in season. Our Produce is second to none. The quality and freshness is apparent in every bite. We NEVER sell strawberries or sweet corn that was picked the previous day. We have the best quality. Nobody does it like the Johnson's!

Fresh-picked Sweet Corn now available!

Our sweet corn is the sweetest around. Did you know that the sugar in corn starts to turn to starch as soon as it is picked and so the longer you keep it around before eating the less sugar it will have when you eat it?

Well we NEVER sell sweet corn that has not been picked that very day and some days we pick 3 and 4 times to ensure that you get the sweetest corn you have ever had.

Sometimes when you purchase corn from the grocery store it has been there a week and it was shipped from who knows where so it has no sugar at all. If you have never tried our corn you owe it to yourself to give it a try. As a matter of fact, In July on Saturdays we cook corn and give away FREE ears so you can see how good it really is.
